The BladeSymphony product family has three powerful, flexible, reliable models available:

BladeSymphony 2000

Taking enterprise-class blade computing to new extremes.

The latest entry in the BladeSymphony line leapfrogs the capabilities of competitive UNIX servers and blade systems from other vendors. This 10U, 8-blade system handles the most I/O-intensive workloads with ease, and features a balanced system architecture that combines massive throughput, embedded virtualization for consolidating systems and workloads, and unprecedented configuration flexibility.

key features - BladeSymphony 2000
  • • Hitachi hardware embedded virtualization (LPARs), along with Microsoft® Hyper-V™ and VMware®—or all three in a single system
  • • Dual-socket blades powered by Intel® Xeon 5600 or Xeon 7500 Series processors
  • • Support for up to 256GB memory and 162 Gbps of I/O throughput on each blade
  • • New high-performance, high-bandwidth, hybrid I/O subsystem leveraging both industry-standard PCIe Gen2.0 slots and integrated switches

BladeSymphony 320

Pushing consolidation to the edge.

When you're ready to extend the benefits of consolidation beyond the enterprise data center, here's the system that gives you the edge. It's the industry's first blade server with a 110-volt power option, and it's lightweight and easy to move and reconfigure. Yet this 6U system packs up to 840 cores into a standard 42U rack-a space savings of 60% compared to rack servers.
